Year 2020 has been very difficult to deal with, for everyone. It is understandable to lose hope and get demotivated with all this death and destruction going on around the world. But to keep going on, in life all of us need some dose of motivation, right? So, here are a few tips of getting motivated in life.   • Think Positive

This might be the most clichéd advice everyone gives for everything but it actually works. When you think about the positive aspects of everything, you are filled with more energy and happiness which can help you think and act better.

  • Be Proud of What You’ve Accomplished

It’s easy to forget what you’ve achieved till now and feel like a complete failure, sometimes. This happens because you start to take your achievements for granted. Develop more self-respect, understand your self-worth and be proud of what you have done till now. Never forget your past successes or your past failures.

  • Small Steps Everyday

If you are ever feeling low because you are not able to get what you want to achieve, start by making a list of small steps, praise yourself for every small step you complete and keep going until you actually get what you want to achieve. Achieving a series of small goals while working your way towards the larger goal keeps you motivated, try it!

Your fear makes you doubt yourself, you start second-guessing all your decisions and this can be disastrous for you. Take some time and make efforts to overcome your fear. Once you feel like you’ve got nothing to lose, you will be able to work like the best version of yourself.

A lot of problems get solved when people decide to open-up and talk-about it. Choose a safe environment, choose people whom you trust completely and talk to them about your fears, biggest challenges, emotions and about whatever you feel is trying to demotivate you.

You can get inspiration by getting to know about the struggles of people similar to you, read books about such people, get to know their life story. Read motivational quotes by them and imply what you’ve learned in your own life.

  • Stay Passionate

Whatever happens, please don’t lose passion for what you want to achieve. Once you lose passion, soon you will start losing interest and then you will not even feel like doing the work you once put your heart and soul into. Whenever you feel like you are losing passion, take a break and when you feel better, then get to work with double energy.

  • Be Optimistic

We all lose hope at some point of time when we do not get the expected results, even after trying several times. But try to stay optimistic, don’t lose hope so easily, remember, when Thomas Edison failed to make the light bulb nearly 2000 times, he said, “I didn’t fail; I found out 2000 ways how not to make a light bulb”.
